Numbers, EURO, Numbers and more numbers

First of all I hope you had a nice Christmas, I liked mine very much :). This year was the first time since I began to work, that I had the 26th of December Leave, therefore I could enjoy Christmas day a lot better than usual :).

Tomorrow will be the end of the Maltese Lira in Circulation in a certain way. I am sick of hearing about Euro Euro Euro Euro and the omg 1st January we are going to start with another currency blabbering. Everyone has the attitude that they will get confused. Oh come one it is still with the same usual numbers so getting change shouldn't be a problem, only the currency value of the Euro is different from Maltese Lira.

NECC has given every family a Euro Converter (I would have agreed more if that was distributed to every person instead of to every family but anyway). It should be easy to check how much a product will cost in LM with this convertor. Oh and btw on mobile phones there usually is a Currency Convertor so all one should do is set this up to convert Euro to LM and there you go you just made your life a bit easier. And oh by the way, you won't need the convertor for now since there will be dual pricing on each product, so why instead of ranting about the EURO won't everybody just try to accept it and get used to it like we get used to everything else in life. Changes happen all the time, this is just normal change.

Today I am tired of seeing numbers, I was doing my Accounts Homework, and also in my work position at a Local Bank's finance Department all I see is numbers. It's getting quite tiring and I need a break from numbers, although that is quite impossible. Besides with the dual pricing now instead of one price, you get to see two, and therefore double the numbers. yuwhu.

On a positive note, I wish you all the best in the coming new year 2008 and a year full of good health and a year surruonded by people who love you and care for you.

Kinky key catastrophe

Spicing up one’s sex life is always and important and exciting task. So imagine things hotting up and then voila’ handcuffs appear and when your partner tries to uncuff you, whoops the keys disappear.

This happened to a couple in England. Zoe, 32 was handcuffed to the bed for two whole hours after her boyfriend, Stuart, 34 called 999 and 3 policeman came. They managed to cut the chain but informed them that to get the cuffs off her wrist, they have to go to the fire station department.

After all that luck, when they went to the fire station they one watch was coming on duty and another was going off.

Zoe had 20 firefighters willing to help her.

Wow, they must have been left pretty red faced. Next time they should opt for keyless handcuffs.

I found this picture while surfing the Net and couldn't stay without posting it here.
How cuteeeeee

Chatting

I have recently read a story of a couple divorcing, after both of them having an online affair, on various different websites. When I first read the title I thought, oh well it is apparently getting very common these days what’s so newsworthy about it. This however is a very, sort of funny and bizarre story.

This happened to a Bosnian couple where they both met an interesting person online and began to pour out their hearts over the marriage trouble and each thought they have found their real soul mate with their chat buddy.

They got so close to their chat buddy that they decided to finally meet them … only to find that they where chatting to each other.

They met online what the husband 32 was chatting on a forum at work, and the wife, 27 was in an internet café.

They decided to meet infront of a shop, each of them carrying a single rose so they can recognize each other. The woman said that she felt shattered, betrayed and angry when she realized she was talking to her husband.

On the other hand the husband said that he was so happy to have found a woman who finally understood him.

Now they are both filing for divorce, with each accusing the other of being unfaithful.

Some questions that went through my mind:

• If they both thought that they found their soul mates, why didn’t they give their marriage another try?
• If they could pour their hearts out to their chat buddy, why couldn’t they do so with their partner?
• Why did they say nice things to their chat buddy but not to each other?
• Is that why you tell your partner of the love you have for him/her and then after some time you go to tell the problems you have with each other to your chat buddy instead of discussing it with your partner maybe you can solve them?
• Is this what internet is becoming? If these are the problems that it will create I will prefer having the normal old printed dictionaries, encyclopedias and CD games and buying all the newspaper that I usually read online and not to having to use the internet any more. I would prefer searching for all the information I will need on a book then on the internet if that will mean that it will be harder for my partner or myself to stray on each other like that.

I know that without internet or not, if a person want’s to stray it can be done, but hey if it is that easy, won’t an adventure be easier for people who usually will not stray?

Until recently, adultery has been a sin of the flesh. Temptation arrives, chemistry sizzles and before long the unfaithful spouse is spending stolen nights in cheap hotels. Now there is a new threat: the virtual affair. While some argue online affairs aren't real, research shows some spouses take them as seriously as the offline variety - and they're becoming a gateway to divorce.

Won’t it be better if one takes the energy that might have revitalized a relationship and uses it, instead, to pursue an unhealthy fantasy? If you want to be happy, you must, in the long run, stay focused on your priorities, and not allow yourself to be driven by transient emotions and passions.

Lessons in Logic

Still Alive

Heya,

Just a small post to let you all know that I'm still alive, although not in the mood for blogging for quite a long time.

Lately mmm what did I do, well this year we truly enjoyed the beer festival we went 3 times, my bf and me had our 3rd year anniversary and we went to eat at Paparazzi. The food was really good and not expensive with a nice scenery and service. It was totally worth it.

Next Wednesday I will begin a 3 days leave, and on Friday we are off for a weekend in Gozo. I'm looking very forward to it cause although Darryn and me spend quite some time together we are rarely alone cause we are either with friends, family or with the dog and believe me she is quite a handful and attention grabber (apart from very jealous when she sees me giving a kiss or a hug to Darryn).

We also did a profile for the devilish doggy (my xadina). She can be quite a charmer and a devil at the same time with those cute puppy eyes.

Anyways for now that is all, maybe I will be in the mood to post after arriving from Gozo, who knows :p

Things You Appreciate

Yesterday I had a girlie chat with a person on the Internet. Amongs other things we mentioned boyfriends, and how much we should appreciate one that treats you well.

They say that 'Guys Are From Mars, Girls Are From Venus' and it is very true that the characters can be the opposite on most things, but hey that is the fun, learning new things from your bf/gf, fighting, arguing on the most simple things, going out together and spending a lot of time with each other and most of all having fun together. If both are from the same planet and everyone likes the same things, what fun is there?

Next Wednesday 13th June is my birthday. Yesterday I got a very wonderful present from my super good boyfiend :). I got a GHD Hairstyler which is the best one :D and my hair is finally smooth and straight. Maybe at last I won't have to dread washing my hair anymore.

I also got a birthday card with vey meaningful and appreciating words from Darryn :D which was very nice and a card from my work Management which I wasn't expecting but it was very nice of them.

Oh well, another year went by, and soon gonna be older, but as long as you can't stop time, better enjoy the time that you have with the people that matter to you :)

My Life Right Now

It has been quite long since I last posted here. I am still getting used to my new workplace: different people, different rules and problems etc ...

I am currently listening to some Moby Mixes from the best of Moby album, it has a lot of good songs and mixes. My favourite song right now is in fact "New York, New York", i can't get bored of listening to it over and over again.

I am mostly spending my time either out of the house or when I am here viewing either: Two and a half men, everybody loves raymond or fawlty towers :), I love comedy shows as you must have noticed.

Today I did some small shopping from 'The Body Shop' and tomorrow is pay day yippie :) I'm broke (nothing new there). I am also looking very forward for my leave (next leave is in July) and summer. This summer I plan to going to the beach as I will finish early from work and have time to go and spend some time in the sun.

Funny thing about the weather, why is it that when I take my umbrella with me wherever I go it never rains even if the weather seems bad, and whenever I forget it it starts raining? Today I took it with me to work and left it in the drawers as I said to myself "so that when I am here and see that the weather is not nice I can take it with me". When I finished and went outside, after a while it started raining heavily and when I arrived in my car it stopped. Blah I think the weather doesn't like me so much.

My Life Right Now & The Cremented Husband

Heya guys how are you?

Been quite a lot since I posted here but been quite busy with a new job and everything. My new job is very different from what I used to do, but I am getting a bit hold of it. I am in finance department at a local bank so it's very new to me. There is a lot of security in working a bank but the people in my dept. at least as I still haven't been around much are very nice people so it should be ok.

On seeing my emails today, I found this email from a very dear friend of mine, which was my colleague while working in TNT, Mr. Alan Joe Cassar :P. I laughed so hard and decided to share it with you, so here it is

The Cremented Husband

Martha recently lost her husband. She had him cremated and brought his ashes home. Picking up the urn that he was in, she poured him out on the patio table. Then, while tracing her fingers in the ashes, she started talking to him...

She paused for a minute tracing her fingers in the ashes then said, "Herman, remember that car you promised me? Well, I also bought it with the insurance money!"

Again, she paused for a few minutes and while tracing her fingers in the ashes she said, "Herman, that diamond ring you promised me? Bought it too with the insurance money!"

Finally, still tracing her fingers in the ashes, She said, "Herman, remember that blow job I promised you? Well, here it comes!!!"
